The faculty of the Residency Program provide each resident with close personal attention throughout the training period to ensure progress in learning, intellectual growth and preparation for career goals. The program curriculum and clinical experience is regularly reviewed by residents and faculty to provide the best possible training opportunities.

Research and scholarship combined with a constant endeavor to provide our patients the best possible care with compassion and empathy are the hallmarks of our program. Because of our dedication to providing an excellent educational experience, the MacNeal-Westlake Medical Residency program has secured the best pass rate in the state of Illinois since 2006, with a remarkable 100% pass rate fiveyears in a row. Because of the extremely disciplined program the superb teaching faculty, many of whom have 10 plus years of training under their belts, our residents are able to learn from the best how to provide excellent quality medical care, with a personal touch.
